yes, I just received the Eyepal. It works great for me. I used to shoot my longer barreled revolvers more because I could focus better on the front sight. At $27 , I have been trying to come up with the plastic that would work.
The merit optical has the advantage of having the peep on a hinge so that it can be lifted out of the field of vision. Lots of shooters like these better but they run about $57.
Either way they do work.

Mosin-Nagant is a war-winning rifle. Round is powerful as all hell.

That's about where the compliments end.

If there are enough purchases the pols could get addicted to the flowing tax revenues.

Is there some reason that you didn’t evaluate the best rimfire ammunition (CCI) in your tests?

I didn’t happen to have any CCI on hand.

Since Scoremaster was discontinued and the end of my stash is in sight, I need to restart a grand experiment searching for reliable, cheap, accurate .22 ammo. The Wolf Match Target qualifies as reliable and accurate, but it’s a bit pricey for plinking. Which of CCI’s .22 ammo would you recommend?

‘course at the rate I haven’t been getting to the range, the couple bricks of Scoremaster I have left may last the rest of my life.

If you spot some of the CCI “SGB” (Small Game Bullet) ammo at a gun show, pick some up and try it. Although it’s no longer in production, some vendors still have it in stock. My Mk II Competition Target likes the stuff better than CCI Green Tag. YMMV, of course.

After years of struggling I gave up breaking down Savage 64’s. I just wash the he$$ out of it with CLP or WD-40 and it works again. Pains me but I am trying to be practical.

"Which of CCI’s .22 ammo would you recommend?"

"Blazer for plinking". "Stinger" for hunting (it kills 30% deader!)

Here's my 1903 Springfield 30-06 with surplus ammo at 200 yards (6 rounds).

Whoops. Looks like the SGB ammo is back on CCI’s website. Don’t know why it dropped off for a while there, but I’m happy to see it back. Time for me to stock up!

Awesome! I was afraid to shoot more than 3 as it may ruin the group ;-)

A Remington 700? Those look like .22 holes.

I didn’t have a spotting scope so I had no idea the group was any good.

Look at the bottom right bull at the 6. That is a .22 hole.

No, popular models of lever-action are on the new Assault Weapons Ban bill. Big-name bolt-actions will be among the first to go.

Ah yeah

I haven’t looked at targets I have in a little while, so I forgot what paper abused by .22 rounds looks like.

For the main target, are those 5.56 or 7.62 holes?

Unfortunately, the credit card bill followed along with the pistol ;)
