A Morristown man was indicted on murder charges today for allegedly drowning his wife in their bathtub in May as their 8-year-old daughter watched, authorities said. Kleber Cordova, 29, is accused of submerging Eliana Torres' head for three minutes during an early morning argument. The 26-year-old spent several days on life support and died at Morristown Memorial Hospital. Officers arrived at the couple's Western Avenue home at about 7:30 a.m. on May 9 after Cordova called 911, saying his wife needed medical help. They found Torres submerged face-up in the tub, with her head under the faucet, authorities said.
Cordova initially told police he found his wife submerged in the tub, authorities said. He changed his story after his daughter told investigators she watched her father force the woman under water, authorities said. The couple also has a 1-year-old son. Cordova remains in custody on $1 million bail. He is native of Ecuador and has been living illegally in the United States, authorities said.

Oh, well, if she dropped the baby here, in one of our hospitals (at tax-payer expense) then that means the fella is American as apple pie. Same goes for his wife, daughter, his inlaws, his brothers, sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles, God children, God neighbors, and anyone else he knows.
I, for one, look forward to funding his daughter's substance here for the rest of her natural life.

If what I just wrote made you sad or angry,
it was probably just a joke.
Does New Jersey have a death penalty and if so, do they actually use it?
