I don’t mean to say you’re wrong, but I thought the reason people marry was to give children a rock-solid base for upbringing and nourishment throughout their developing years, to have the nuclear family (not radioactive).
Any two people can produce a kid without marrying. Sometimes with one parent, the kid comes out fine. The other times, they don’t. And sadly, it happens far too often these days.
Thats what I meant, in not so many words. Marriage is a prelude to a nuclear family. I wouldn’t bother getting married if I didn’t want children.
