According to Consumer Reports, the BEST LCD HDTVs sizes 40” and up are ALL Samsung. They even have a 55” model.

When did that report come out? New sets are coming out all the time.

I have the 2009 Consumer Reports buyer's guide ;
for LCD's Samsung is top rated from 40" to 52",and 32".
Panasonic top rated for 26" and 37".

For Plasma tv's Samsung top rated for 50" and 58", Panasonic top rated for 42" and 46".
