Watching "Ghost Hunters" on the SciFi Channel this evening, this poster just caught a slick ethnic-chic promo for some movie or show - called "heroes", which obviously was yet another hollywood leftwing PC dopey screed.
The protagonist, a clearly typecast hispanic guy. Opposite a charming brunette, he's seen proclaiming for some reason - he would never kill anyone.
The next scene is where it hit me:
Immediately after that stylized latino-as-role model moment is shown - a conspicuously blond woman is shown, declaring meaningfully: she won't give him that chance. (que the evil theme music, for atmosphere)
That's when I "got it".
(if I'm way off base here, go ahead and say so)
Hollywood, liberals and feminists' brains are scrambled by Sarah Palin, mostly because she doesn't conform in any way to the stereotype they've been carefully constructing of everyone who's not liberal - for the last 5 decades. The cool, calculating. Untalented. Arrogant. Old germanic-looking guy.
The "Nazi" word. Aryan imagery. It's driven Hollywood as long as liberals have been driving messages there.
Hollywood, liberals and feminists are befuddled by Governor Palin most of all by one simple unmentioned - and profoundly inconvenient - fact ...
get some sleep
I think you’ve got a good point.
Add in that she’s smart and charismatic - she connects with the voters. That scares the liberals.
Nope. Brunette is the new blonde.
I don’t think they can, at this point.
Imagine:
It’s 2012. Hillary has just won the democrat party nomination, after a disasterous 4-year reprise of Jimmy Carter’s failed term.
Government is now an issue. Central control of our lives, has begun to infuriate an ever larger segment of America’s heartland voters.
(recall that “big brother” commercial — picturing Hillary on that screen) Some subtle improvements, to be sure voters notice Hillary is rather more than just a little Aryan-looking herself...
Now:
Contrast that imagery, to Governor Palin. Sitting happily, not meddling in our lives, on the back of her husband’s champion snow machine... from economically booming Alaska.
:)
I think you’re over-analyzing this just a bit. The media Libs hate Sarah Palin because she’s a Republican. A CONSERVATIVE Republican at that.
The media Libs don’t care about the color of Sarah Palin’s hair, they care about the content of her voter registration card.
I think what really bothers liberals about Sarah Palin, is they sense from her, that most terrifying of all characteristics (on) a conservative:
Teflon.
Just saying... :)
The libs hate Sarah Palin for one reason and one reason only — she had a baby with Down syndrome.
Liberalism is driven, whether the Liberal knows it or not, by a rejection of Absolute Truth. Every Liberal wants to define for himself what is right and what is wrong.
Sarah Palin is a representative of Absolute Truth. So for no rational reason, Liberals hate her.
That's not why they hate her. They hate her because she opposes the things which they (Hollywood, liberals, feminists, etc.) hold sacred.
Its simple really.
Liberal
Conservative
Liberal
Conservative
Liberal
Conservative
I think the Governor reminds a liberal of his/her mother and that generates a lot of hostility and feelings of resentment because they are now so screwed up. Liberals are typically anti-family unless it is a weird family composed of 2 mommies or 2 daddies or whatever. Didn’t you notice how much of the liberal anger was directed toward the entire Palin family?
The word is ‘unhinged’.
I think they hate her because of her nose
It’s the fact that she has five children and still has her figure. That really ticks off liberal women.
seriously whatever this sickness is about GW Bush its being transferred to Palin ...They want to take her out because she has a lot of years in front of her
Not all!
