In my opinion he only awards that really do matter in the end are box office receipts. These days dvd sales as well. So if winning awards is a big deal to folks, God bless them. I just think something that’s given to you isn’t really all that important.
Most movies that appeal to a large mass audience are junk. If it’s Art it isn’t for everyone and if it’s for everyone it isn’t Art.
