24: Redemption is on FOX at 8PM. A reminder for all Freepers who are fans of Jack Bauer.
Then you just tell Mrs. Rustbucket to go do laundry on Sunday nights or whatever night 24 is going to air..................
Well this is an actual war!
Not sure, the last series I watched had Marwan and Berooooooz in it ! Forgotten when it was, but there’s been at least one since then.
Was the movie good or bad??
Jack was great, Jan. shows look awesome!
yeah..that was 4, my favorite. There have been 2 since then but I don't remember any guy named Haddaad being tortured.
Well there’s always the DVD, to be released in 2 days. I might buy it myself, having missed tonight’s movie.
BTW, I pray, pray, that the producers of the show were lying when they said that global warming would have a part in the plot of season 7. That would be a lethal drop of mush (to mix my metaphors) that just might kill the show for good.
If the January shows are better, she'll keep watching.
I wasn't impressed with tonight's show. IMO, it was worse than the most recent season. But I'll cross my fingers and watch the January shows. I hope the new lady prez is not as bland or PC as she seems (the libs now in control of the show just can't help themselves).
Finally, I hope that the old geeky, socially inept, lovable Chloe is back in more than just a cameo!
I'm sure she will. Tonight's episode was a show in itself. Did you notice in the preview of the upcoming season that Tony Almeada (sp?) will be back?
That Tony guy was a whisperer. Always with the dramatic whisper. Doesn’t talk right.
Yeah, but I don't mind it so much in fiction.
Tonight’s show was very entertaining, but it’s hard not to notice all the PC going on - - woman President wants to send US troops (armed only with rubber bullets, no doubt) to “Sengali” and Darfur and Rwanda and God knows where else, not for national security reasons but strictly for “humanitarian” reasons.... Good grief.
The one redeeming element was the United Nations dude who was realistically and appropriately portrayed as a worthless, cowardly, corrupt weasel. United Nations material all the way.
Terrific show overall but I’ll be glad when Jack is back doing his thing in the good old US of A.
I was only reminded to watch it because I saw this thread. Only missed the first 10 minutes.
Can anyone tell me what I missed in the first 10 minutes? Or what is happening?
oh, they were training a bunch of kids to kill....and the state dept tried to serve Jack Bauer with a subpoena to testify for his torture 2 season ago (new lib administration)
Did they send him to Africa? Or is he there on his own?
The Subpoena thing was from Powers Boothe's administration because he couldn't stand CTU, correct?
I already forget what I read on the Wikipedia entry for 24:Redemption-which apparently was named 24: Exile, originally. It was filmed in South Africa, btw, oh, and Los Angeles.
He left after the Chinese Embassy incident I think....
So is Jack on his own, or still under US government authority?
Oh, I didnt mean 2 seasons ago...I meant last 24 season...which was almost 2 years ago because of the writers strike.
