The exhibit will run from Wednesday, June 17 through Sunday, July 19 with an Opening Reception from 5 - 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 18.

South Korean Company to Hire 300 at Service Center
South Carolina
Greenville County’s top business recruiter says a unit of South Korea-based Samsung Group will open a customer service center in the Upstate, hiring 300 people when it opens in May.
Jerry Howard told The Greenville News on Wednesday that the center could hire as many as 1,000 workers over the next five years. Howard is president and chief executive officer of the Greenville Area Development Corp., which helps recruit businesses to the area.

SNIPPET: “Burlington Coat Factory’s grand opening at County Fair Fashion Mall was announced Thursday for mid-March, Edward Ptacek, chief financial officers for the mall announced.
Burlington is set to open Friday, Saturday and Sunday, March 13, 14, and 15.
Additionally, Ptacek announced, the retail business is in the process of hiring 125 workers from throughout the community.
Interviews have been scheduled at the mall on Saturday, Feb. 7, and Saturday, Feb. 14.
Ptacek reported there will be a separate interview location on site inside the mall on the east side near Burlington Coat Factory’s entrance, toward the back side of the mall off the Gibson Road entrance across from the Yolo County Fairgrounds.”

The Internal Revenue Service is looking for folks from the Palmetto State to populate offices in North and South Carolina.

Those interested in applying are required to be a U.S. citizen with a bachelor’s degree, equivalent work experience or a combination of each. Officials ask that applicant grade point average be no less than 3.0, or 3.5 if an accounting major.
Starting salaries in the Carolina offices range from $38,177 to $44,976 and are based on costs of living adjustments in various areas, IRS officials say.
Organizers say revenue officers are trained in both tax law and collection techniques necessary for the collection of delinquent taxes and delinquent tax returns.
Officials say various duties include conducting research, interviews, investigations and analysis of financial information for assigned cases, often at the taxpayer’s home or business.
Revenue officers counsel taxpayers on their tax obligations and determine how they can best resolve their delinquencies, while also ensuring that their rights are protected.
