Congratulations, Barack - Now fix your websites [Change? Start with security]

President elect Barack Obama's embrace of online video and social networking may have propelled him to victory, but unless he's careful, his administration could be brought down by the same sloppy security problems that have plagued MySpace, Facebook, and dozens of other Web 2.0 properties.

A cursory look at Change.gov and MyBarackObama reveal enough amateur mistakes to make even the most ardent supporters wonder just who in the heck is in charge of security. For one, the content management system for both of the sites is easily accessible to anyone. And as far as we can tell, neither page is protected by secure sockets layer - the "s" following a web address's "http" that assures you the connection is encrypted.

Security 101 would dictate that pages this sensitive should be restricted to select internet protocol addresses, or at the very least, encrypted to prevent so-called man-in-the-middle attacks. There are no such protections on Change.gov or MyBarackObama, the latter suggesting that this lack of attention to security has been allowed to persist for some time now.

They are obvious are newbies in Photoshop based on the cheezy forgery of “his” COLB they tried to pawn off.

So is it conventional wisdom here this nonsense?

The ‘colb’ is real.

You act like someone more interested in making conservatives look fringe than someone unable to qualify evidence before passing judgment.

There are a lot of people that have been posting at this site for a decade that see this colb nonsense as a cancer that debilitates and marginalizes.

Let’s learn from the rats of 04 who purged the fraudster loon and focused on winning the next two elections.

“So is it conventional wisdom here this nonsense?”

What are you talking about?

How about a coherent thought?

What ‘colb’ is real? Who told you? How do you know?

You think the COLB they provided is legitimate?
You have any experience using Photoshop?

You think Leo Donofrio’s case is nonsense?

Well Associate Justice Thomas doesn’t think it is.

I am a loon for defending The Constitution? If defending The Constitution means I am a loon then so be it.

Were back to that “newbie” arguement I see. God forbid someone might post something important instead of comments about granny’s peach pie or prayer threads for Obama or chattting about ball games.

What “fraudster loon” did the Rats purge in 2004? I see they purged the loons for the marxists?

It's unprecedented as far as I know. I guess the chosen one makes his own rules.

You act like everyone knows his BC is a fake.

You act like it is conventional wisdom.

It is far from it.

Not a single person has proved his BC is a fake.

For crying out loud you can’t even prove this country had a travel ban for Pakistan while you run around demanding to see his non existent Indonesian passport.

This kind of intellectual dishonesty or laziness is the cancer.

If you notice I’m newer than you. I signed up today to pose these question to you and a couple of others that persist on making conservatives look like bed wetting nincompoops.

No one has seen a birth certificate, only a certificate of live birth. They are 2 different documents. If you want to debate, you'll need to understand what the debate is about.

Yup. We noticed.

A detroit radio station called the Kenyan embassy after the election of Obama. After a lot of trouble they get through to the ambassador of Kenya.

The ambassador of Kenya says that obama was born in Kenya and that his birth place has become a national shrine.

Listen to the recording here

The quote is around 12:35, so if you don’t have time to listen to the whole thing, you can jump ahead.
The transcript reads:

Radio Jockey: President elect Obama's birth place over in Kenya -- is that going to be a national spot where he was born

Ambassador: its already an attraction. his paternal grandmother is still alive

Radio Jockey: his birth place...they'll put up a marker there

Ambassdor: its already well known.

Be sure to download the recording as well. The chances of it remaining online for long are remote.

If you have the skills to post it on Utube...please do.

The Arnold would have run for president long ago and likely won if he were a "natural born" american. He's not. He's naturalized. So he can't run. And he knows it. (though there were some trial balloons sent up a couple years back about changing the law.)

Like the Arnold, Obama looks to be a naturalized citizen--but maybe he's not even that.

In any case the supreme court--at Justice Thomas instigation-- is taking up the issue Dec 5

If you believe that .....

7000 petitions a year.

Despite popular belief ‘distributed for conference’ does not mandate a vote.

You are expecting the scotus to rule for the first time on an ambitious issue in a way that overturns an election.

Even if, and that is a big if, the results are thrown out the perceived pettiness of the case will sink our chances for decades.

We might as well congratulate ourselves, throw a big party and then start from scratch trying to win elections.

Obama love.

Get a grip.

I haven’t posted a single comment in any way supportive of the head rat.

What I have done is ask simple questions you have refused to answer.

I’m also not afraid of Obama. I’m not going to pretend the sky is falling because it makes us look weak.

We are right. We will do what it takes to survive AND prosper under Obama because that’s what is going to win us elections. We help Obama do what is right, and we oppose him when he is wrong. In 4 years we run on his record.

We take credit for his successes and blame him for his failures, all while explaining what we would have done differently and better.

It’s not rocket science. This colb crap is weak. And you putting words in my mouth is more of the same.

You've not asked me anything.

This colb crap is weak.

Why has Obama spent $800,000 in legal fees fighting having to produce a birth certificate?

"Despite popular belief ‘distributed for conference’ does not mandate a vote."

Justice Thomas is the most deliberative on the court. He would have had strong reason to reject it our of hand, had he not believed (and actually known) that the case is valid.

"You are expecting the scotus to rule for the first time on an ambitious issue in a way that overturns an election."

That is the view of an extreme leftist. Its not an 'ambitious' issue; it is one of the most critical issues to confront the court: the usurpation of the election, and the constitution, by an arrogant and disrespectful alien that illegally got elected to the Senate, and now seeks the highest office in the land, utterly without discernable qualifications.

Bryer is the only judge that I can say with confidence will vote with the usurper.
