At a dinner party last night, a friend mentioned one of the piracy incidents included a dirty bomb; specifically, that the plan was to sail the vessel to an Israeli port where it would be detonated.

One of the first ships hijacked that got in the news was a ship that had a load of radioactive material that killed many of them. The story was that it was destined for Tel Aviv to be blown up in the harbor. Detailed information was posted here on the FR.
