Thanks - my wife and I honeymooned on Galveston Island in ‘83. We went back in ‘04 and then again last May. We went to see the Elissa every time. It was a highlight for both of us. She passed away in September, and while she was in the hospital Ike devastated Galveston. I kept that bit of news from her. So I have very fond memories of Galveston area and especially the Elissa.

I am so sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one cuts like a knife. It does not get better but you do learn to live again. I did. Lost a 4 year old '78, 26 year old '94 and my Ralph 2005!
