What’s funny is that just about every homeschooled kid I know (and I know a lot of them, including some family) could wipe the floor with Joy Behar, intellectually speaking.

Joy Behar says homeschooled kids are "demented" (The View)

as my eight-year old son would say, "Now Joy, you just made a general statement..."

Actually, that's a great idea. They should have a bunch of homeschoolers on the show and play, "Are You Smarter Than A Homeschooler, Joy Behar"?

I was thinking exactly the same thing when I watched that clip of Joy’s stupid comments about homeschoolers. As a friend of mine says, Joy talks out of the side of her neck most of the time — clueless about pretty much everything. How she earns as much money as she does and continues to have such a public forum to speak such worthless banter is one of those mysteries of the universe.

She showed her ignorance in her comment, because that “demented” snide remark is so outdated and mythical about our homeschooled children, it shows how irrevelant she is. Homeschooled children (like my own four) are the most articulate, confident, poised people I’ve ever met. They could debate (and THINK) circles around Joy anyday on pretty much any subject.

I hope that show gets flooded with objections to her silliness. That would get homeschooling some interesting attention, don’t you think?
