Well, it is happening in real life with a man named Joseph Kony. Wouldn’t mind Jack coming in and taking him out in real life. No problem at all in fact.
It was the writers strike last year, then kiefer went on vacation a while.

You hit that nail on the head. Jack Bauer has saved the Nation how many times now? For what does he need Redemption?
This was the flaw inherent in Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, which made it a truly terrible movie. Max was a great hero, and needed to apologize for nothing. But to the Hollywood mindset, he wasn’t great until he helped save some poor widdle kids. It killed the whole concept.
This will kill “24”.
For all you Jack Bauer fans, the show starts in 2 hours on your local fox station. It has been almost 2 years and this will be the prequell to the series that starts in january.
