Well, I got home on Thursday evening none the worse for ware thank God. I’m still pretty sore (today was the first day I could actually sit in front of the computer). I’ll be going back to New York on Wednesday to have some tubes removed and at that point I should get the surgeon’s prognosis. I want to personally thank everyone who responded to my prayer request. It meant the world to me. Please continue to pray for my complete recovery. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I’m sure this wasn’t your normal kind of Thanksgiving (whatever that means!), but I’ll bet you had some pretty good things to reflect on, despite it all.
God bless you in your recovery. Please keep us posted as you are able. My best to you!
Hi RU88!
Just returned from our Thanksgiving weekend & got your update.
I’m thanking our Heavenly Father for seeing you safely through your surgery, that the operation is now in the past & that you are up & back on FR...hopefully, by the time you read this, most of the discomfort will have subsided. Besides, the discomfort often isn’t as bad as the doubt and uncertainty we have to deal with at times like this.
So, one down (the surgery) and one to go...talking with your doc about the rest of your treatment. But at least you’re not just beginning the process anymore, you’re half way through it!
Prayers will continue to our Loving Father for your complete recovery and for the day this whole ordeal is behind you.
Best Wishes!
