ST. ANTHONY, Idaho

I love that part of Idaho.
What would you do if you lived there?

In general, the mayor and the council object to people doing what they want with their own property (lumber/farming community). The comments are more informative than the article. The “Parking Committee” sounds a bit subjective as to what they deem appropriate on one’s property. Those who don’t like the mayor don’t appreciate what they view as his California makeover of their town.
WOW! He must think he's the mayor of Los Angeles!
(Yep, FReeper stuck in the Bastogne of the U.S., SoCal.)
The good mayor needs to be reminded that it was those ‘stupid people’ who elected him in the first place.
Yeah, there’s definitely some of us stuck in Liberaland, NY that want out.
Send this guy to Arlington, Va. He would have a lot to yell at.
That’s the surface story. Although I agree with the “stupid people” sentiment by the former Mayor.
It took me all of 20 or 30 minutes to find out the former Mayor and City Council got into a dispute over Pioneer Day.
The area hasn’t changed. Disagree with the Elders and you’re going to get stomped.
We must live in the same town!
HEALY
I work with retards.
MARY
I beg your pardon?
HEALY
You know...the guys who ride the short bus.
MARY
Isn’t that a little politically incorrect?
HEALY
The hell with that. No one’s gonna tell me
who I can and can’t work with.
In my town (Miami-Dade) the Mayor and Commision specifically count on the voters being very stupid, it’s their livelihood.
And it’s true.
I’d point the arrow up......hahaha.
OMG!!!! We're surrounded!!!
They're eating me alive!!!
I'm transferring my life essence to the nearest electronic device!!!!
I would point the arrow down......hahaha
I bet a million dollars that you would say “point the arrow down”....now I must go collect my coinage.
It’s a win-win.
Okay. The people of Parker elected an outlander for Mayor. From UTAH of all places. Can it really get more heinous? The new Mayor announces there are gong to be some changes. Changes? Changes? In a place where nothing has changed for 15 generations, or the last 150 years. People were screaming for a do-over. So do-over it is. But just to help things out, someone determined the new Mayor had a suspended driver’s license. So the night before the do-over the new Mayor gets arrested and is smeared on local media.....
Parker is a stone’s throw from St. Anthony...
