By Friday afternoon, Gov. Sarah Palin had already left sunny and warm Miami, as well as the cold shoulder she got from at least one governor running for president, to return to freezing but politically warmer Alaska.
Palin skipped the governors vote this morning that elected, HUMAN EVENTS has just learned, South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford the new chair of the Republican Governors Association, Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour vice-chair, and Florida Gov. Charlie Crist chair of the RGAs February 2009 Annual Gala in Washington, D.C.
HUMAN EVENTS was first to report yesterday that RGA Chair, Texas Gov. Rick Perry, remarkably and clumsily cut short Palins press conference and turned the huge media throng here into an angry, shouting crowd.

Pawlenty can be all the RINO he wants to be. Sanford and Barbour were elected to important positions and Palin is bigger than the RGA.
You know, for a while there, I was thinking Pawlenty had some class, and was better than Coleman, but now I realize that Coleman is far classier than RINO Pawlenty. I’m disgusted. Looks like we’re going to get a democrat governor at the next election. Geez.
NO...I WAS TALKING ABOUT ME!
Don't you DARE mess with Sarah or you are politically finished.
SHE EARNED HER PLACE AT THE TOP.
I’ve seen Pawlenty on a view shows. Never liked the guy.
Damn these stupid moderates. I wish they showed half this much energy fighting rats.
To tell everyone the truth, I don’t remember conservatives this motivated to get rid of moderates from positions of power and direction of the GOP.
I’m happy we got Sanford and Barbour leading the RGA. Hopefully they’ll begin addressing the weak state of the GOP at the state level. Recruit young conservatives like Palin and Jindal. That’s what we need, not more idiots that try to out-democrat a democrat. And that’s how you get the minorities on board. Especially considering that the hope of the party is a strong woman and an excellent young American-Indian. Not exactly grumpy old men.
Tim should join a third “Moderate” party...
Yes, Sanford and Barbour are good additions. :)
But called it on Pawlenty being a backstabbing RINO. Other posisble presidential contenders to watch out for. Daniels and Crist.
By the way, Liz, what is your opinion of Sarah Palin?
Saw him on H&C last night talking about the RATS “finding” supposedly misplaced ballots to steal the election from Norm Coleman. He was more sincere about defending the ACORN affiliated Secratary of State than about any outrage over the RATS.
Sit down. Shut up Tim...
Let’s remember that Gov. Perry may be close to the Bushies, and we know what that means. Some of Bush’s aides who allegedly helped Palin on the campaign are suspected to be some of the “unnamed sources” who backstabbed her last week.
Now we know who NOT to vote for in 12
Tim to GOP...I can reach across the aisle. Look, I can stand by while my friends in the Democratic party steal a Senate seat. I am the new face of the GOP.
DO NOT ELECT DANIELS: I didn’t even vote for him (twice) for governor; and he still won! (Sad)-Voted Andy Horning/Lisa Kelly this last election..

No more moderates are needed in the GOP. What is needed is True REAGAN Conservatives. That’s the way to Win Elections.
When will these buffoons get it?? We do not need panderers. We need leaders. Strong leaders. People who say what they mean and mean what they say. Any Rino’s need voted out of office as well as the dems. Bunch of morons.
