one other thought....Dell has really lowered it’s prices. You could get a brand new Dell with everything you want for that price range.

That’s a thought but hubby says that since it has Vista and only 1 GB of ram it will be practically worthless, but, it is a thought.
Check the warranty. A lot of the new low end Dells come with a 90 day warranty. One year or longer costs extra.
