Bye. I’ll be here, and so will millions of patriots. It will take more than one skinny Dem radical to dent, let alone destroy, the USA. So we’ll fight the fight. But don’t come back when we win and try to claim you were on the battle lines too.

But I am not giving up on my country and I think it is PATHETIC for you to suggest same.Sorry, but the people have chosen socialism and libertine humanism as the national ethos. Fight it all you want, but that's the way it is.
Any change in this trend will not come through traditional means, and will not come without great pain.

Sorry, but the people have chosen socialism and libertine humanism as the national ethos BS! The election was a referendum on Bush more than a vote for socialism. Bush disappeared the past 4 years. He was an inarticulate stumblef#ck who took the country farther left than Clinton did.
Our job is to regain control of the GOP, toss out the RINOs and recast the message of conservatism using fresh faces. Michael Steele RNC. Jindal/Palin 2012.

I'm sure glad the Founding Fathers, the Minute Men, Paul Revere, George Washington, et al didn't have that attitude.
We're not really showing a lot of courage to dig out the horn and blow taps, are we? What we're showing is extreme cowardice to the nth degree.
It's not like the country is 50-50. It's actually more like 80-20...of course the 20% have managed to gain control over about 31% of the "sheeple" and lead them to the polls with free sex, free candy, and cigarettes.
I don't think we need to overcome 51% of the country, just the 20% that causes all the trouble...the remaining 31% of the useful idiots they have amassed will see the error of their ways and fall in line.
I think we've all went along with this long-standing decline of America for a long time in fear that we will lose our jobs, homes, and standard of living...so we capitualed with the libs - we bitched about it - but just stayed low and kept on trying to get some of the crumbs of the American dream.
Well, there's a good chance that a lot of us will lose our homes, jobs, and standard of living under this administration. Especially if they devise a way (read: ACORN) to keep this bunch in power.
There are really only a couple of things you can do when getting raped - fight back for all you're worth, or lay there and enjoy it. Either way, you'll probably die in the end.
"Taps" for America? Well, you can lay there, but I don't think you're going to enjoy it.

I happen to agree with you..When the vast majority of your fellow citizens rush to vote for Marxism, we are in a pickle. I have not seen a coherent opposition to the trend. We are leaderless. Of course, you can take a stand at your house when they come for you, but that is a rather ineffective way to deal with saving the country. We do not have a polarizing opposition as yet. I am still hopeful we can get that kind of leadership, but McCain is certainly not it with his collaborations in the past with the Democrats.

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor...?
Or, as the late football player Jerome Brown said (as played over and over by Jim Healy), "Did the Japanese go and sit down and have dinner with Pearl Harbor before they bombed him?"
