If this is true (customers will not notice), then someone in management should be fired. This should have been done years ago!

There is a very good possibility that nobody will notice.

Many years ago I worked for the State of WV. Every time the legislature didn't pass a budget on time, they had a statewide lay-off which usually lasted only a month or so. The ONLY people who noticed were the ones laid off without any paycheck as the work was always done by a limited number of employees and the rest were simply padding the payroll.

The worst part about that is that it’s non-union employees who will be laid off. The unionized people stay.

I am utterly disgusted.

Really, then why were they employing 40,000 EXTRA people??

I digress.

Customers won’t notice, people will still be on a long line with people talking and laughing in the back room until some loudmouth (ME!) says “Is it possible to open another register please?” Only then do all the drones on the line say “yeah, let’s”.

Can’t wait till the government takes over healthcare.
