Oh, it’s pretty transparent. All these older women writers, including those claiming to be conservative, simply can’t bear the fact that Sarah Palin is more successful than they are, when they consider her their inferior. Well, boo hoo hoo. Being them is its own punishment, and being Sarah Palin (or any woman who’s happy with her family, career, and other attainments) is its own reward.
