If people want to imply something in their mind, then that is their perogative.
Also, your example, Vote Obama: Dont Microwave Baby Kitties” is not comparable in that your statement is a double negative ..... while mine is a single positive advocacy message.
My sign “Keep Christmas a national holiday: vote McCain” says nothing about what Obama advocates or doesn’t advocate.He might feel the same way for all I know.
What if I said .....
“Keep taxes low: Vote John McCain”
Do you see a problem with that???
Neither do I.
Some people are just antsy about a religious issue, which is what my fellow Republicans were upset about. “You can’t mix religion and politics,” they said......
Even though it’s mixed all the time with faith-based organizations and tax exemption, advocacy for Israel over the Arab/Islam point of view, etc.
