Ever since the election, I've been seeing ads on TV that, while not strictly campaign ads, seem to have the same feel as campaign ads.
It's almost like Obama is still running to be President, or trying to convince me that he is a good one (already).
It kind of gives me the uncomfortable feeling of being the unwilling recipient of propaganda.
Has anyone seen any of these?
I’m boycotting all news channels. If he shows up on Qubo I’ll scream.

Yes, I saw one. I think it was an AARP ad, the one with the elephan/donkey combo icon.
The one that sticks out in my mind is from an organization called “Divided we Fail”, but there are others that I don’t remember.
I don’t recall ever seeing ads like this before, and it isn’t only on the news channels.
The Russians used propaganda to influence people during the Cold War. Are we seeing our future?
There are feel good pictures and message everywhere.
Yesterday I tried to pull up a google map and in “popular journies” ——in addition to my last search-——I found “Barack Obama’s Journey” and “Joe Biden’s Journey”
I used mapquest instead
The sheeple’s fascination with cult personalities is weird
And I think we don’t have a presidency now- we have a cult
Hell... Comcast is still playing get out and vote commercials.
I refuse to watch TV news, but it wouldn’t surprise me at all if Obama didn’t get the propaganda machine up and running before Jan. 20.
Yes, indeedy. Think Invasion of the Body Snatchers, too.
And what’s that old scifi movie with Roddy Piper in it, the one where he wears glasses to see the robots running the world, and ordinary people are slaves. Gee, that sounds familiar!
AARP supports leftist causes; those ads are to try to fool the (conservative) folks into joining.
Those ads have convinced me not to join AARP.
Odd that this post would appear just now because I just made the same comment to my wife at breakfast this morning.
It looks like some of that money left over from the campaign might be used for the same brainwashing that occurs in those countries where the “leader” has his picture on every wall, every public place in the nation.
Pictures on TV will work better than pictures on brick walls.
If it is deliberate, it is a really smart move.
I wish Newt would bring back some smarts to the conservatives.
I have had my TV off since Wednesday. Not a chance i will see that slime.
Looks like the Left, after excoriating Pres. Bush for 8 years and using him as a human pinata during the campaign, now needs our help and wants to make nice-nice. Well, forgetaboutit. After their scorched earth policy, the Left can pound sand.
Besides which, I want the Left to totally own the disaster they are going to foist on the country with their policies. I don't want it to be labeled a bipartisan effort.
i was in los angeles yesterday
and kfi’s “news” amazed me:
it’s 4 days after the elections and they’re still attacking governor palin.
they mentioned that she doesn’t know that africa is a continent.
The strange and humorous fact is, the Left (politically) is not lazy (while a sizable segment of their constituents most certainly are)....but the Left is not lazy, the Right is. The RNC/GOP is pathetically lazy when it comes to PR, premise setting, stopping false-MSM-driven premises from being set, etc, etc.
You mean they repeated the discredited slander that was leaked by an anonymous debate prepper.
Good idea!
We joined AARP about 6 years ago, and the crap they send to the house gets thrown out now.
We’re cancelling our membership as soon as it comes up, and I’m writing them a nasty letter telling them why, too.
Don’t waste your money.
