I would agree except that it has been noted by the FR powers to be FR has become awash lately with vanity threads and asked people to refrain. Ex: Free Republic is Drowning in Vanity Postings--Please Stop (Mod note--we concur).

I turned 40 yesterday and you know how the election went. I NEEDED to freep yesterday. Instead I posted a way-lame post at the old yahoo site, and ate entirely too much cake.
