Glenn Beck this morning has been telling all his listeners that everyone should be acknowledging that obama is president to, only to himself, but to everyone.
One caller came on and expressed his concern for the obama presidency and was having a hard time calling obama as his president.
Beck jumped all over him, calling him ant-American. I immediately turned off his show and never will listen to his crap again.
Beck is obviously worried about being kept on the air after the 'Fairness Doctrine' gets reenacted.
Just so ya' know.
Me either. We are in an extremely tough situation. We need to be very wise here and not reactionary.
Imagine how I felt. Needing some good old Glen stuff. I have never opined on who Americans should or should'n.t vote for. I know my manners. A woman's voice came on as first caller. She brought up the electoral college and a birth certificated
"Stop, stop already"
Then a spiel about this your president and you better believe it. Of course that is right, but if he had a screen caller, then he set up that woman. She must have felt deflated, her name was Sarah. He was unpleasant. I, myself have already said, I could not see poor little Stanley Ann Dunham, deserted by the splendid older intellectual scholar, leaving her mother in Honolulu. She needed a good friend.
Still, what is the harm in people wanting the record? We in England searched Charlie Chaplin. He had no certificate. Nobody was going to deport him though. (laughs)
Most hear understand your sentiments, including me. But you could go over to the Dummies page and see this repeated over and over for the last 8 years. This is not a good argument to make when battling in the arena of ideas and conservative principles.
Like it or not (which I don't), unless you are not a citizen of the US, he is indeed your President Elect (soon to be President of the United States of America). Let's get past this and go back to working hard for our cause. Let's get back to pushing what we believe is best for this nation and freedom around the world.

I like Glan & will still listen but he went overboard on the “we’re all Americans” crap this morning.

He is a thoroughly decent person and he doesn’t allow people to go ad hominen or say things which are meant solely to be mean or hateful.
Beck is a decent guy. He is a funny guy. He is not a Republican. He is conservative. He is pro-life, pro-capitalism and pro-Golden Rule.
You can decide that you’d rather listen to somebody like Michael Savage who will just call everybody on the other side a traitor and a communist. But if you want everybody to just be filled with hatred as a strategy then you’ll always have somewhere to go on the radio (until Schumer/Obama/Pelosi/etc ban talk radio)
Instead of referring to Chairman 0 as POTUS, it should be POTUSS. We’ve picked up an extra S since Tuesday. Go USSA!!

Curious how this 2008 election is now to be considered legitimate, that the will of the people was truthfully expressed, whereinas the previous two presidential elections were considered illegal, illegitimate, stolen.

Glenn went too far with the caller calling him anti-American, I understand where he’s coming from though. Obama is the American President but in all truthfullness I’ll consider him the President(D) along with the caller until he proves me wrong.

I disagree. What Beck was saying is that we have to wait for Obama to try to trash the Constitution. Beck is basically saying that Obama could in fact be intending to rule “from the center”.
He’s saying the time to warn people about Obama is over. We have to let him try to do it now. The goal is to stand up to him on the issues and try to get through these 2 years without violence and with our Constitution intact.
I heard that “he is your president too” crap and I’m done.
He is NOT my President.
If I can hear that for 8 years, I can say for however long it takes to get that Buttock Obama out of office.
I began listening to Glenn Beck when he appeared in Tampa as the afternoon AM talk radio guy to replace(the late)Bob Lassiter. Over the years he seemed to become more and more paranoid. As our economic woes blossomed, Beck became too much for me to bear. Yes, he is often right. He’s no dummy. But how many doses of gloom and doom can a person take? I no longer listen to him and I have never once watched his TV show.
I will respect the Office of the President as every patriotic American should do. I do not have to respect Obama the man and his philosophies or bad policy.

Yes I do remember those jerks, I agree with you, and I can tell you that most conservatives I know are better than that. When I was in college, in 1989, a lady in one of my classes said about George H. W. Bush “he’s not my president” and I thought what a jerk, what a stupid and disrespectful thing to say. I gave my wife and kids a lecture on this yesterday LOL.
I tend to agree with Beck here. Unless proven otherwise. But make no mistake, we must be prepared to go after them for everything we disagree with. For the despicable treatment they afforded GWB for the past eight years they must be held accountable. Now they have the majority they sought and if the repubs play it right, they’ll be able to lay the blame on the DEMONS.
