Jindal, He is BRILLIANT, he can TALK, he is the Future..YOU WANT TO WIN in 2012, this is the Man for the job....Listen to him...he is better than Romney...Quicker

I do agree that Jindal is an excellent orator and a true conservative. A lot of voters go on visual image unfortunately. As goofy as Barak Hussein looks, for some reason, he is considered an attractive looking african american male, or at least he was sold and bought that way.
I’m only jumping in here because I had a back and forth at work with a fellow Freeper about this. It’s lame, I know, but the American voters go in some part for a certain image, which we need to keep in mind come 2012 and as much as I like Jindal, I really don’t see it happening for him.
Of course, I could be wrong and totally off base, but we do have what happened last night as an example of this.
We have a total clown as president elect now...
Jindal would make an excellent VP choice, however.
Well, he probably does need to work out a little. But it’s not like Bark Obama is some kind of Arnold Schwarzenegger.
That’s if we let Obama go easy...we can tear him down just like the Dems plotted the first day he got into office.
We need to be more organized
We will see in the Debates, we will see when he speaks to crowds....I believe in Jindal
I thought we learned our lesson with Dole. Lots of Senate time, centrist, his turn to run because he’d been a good campaigner for others, blah blah blah.
You can’t get moderates/libs to pull the lever for your guy because he’s acting centrist...they’ll just go for the real deal on the left and your base gets fed up and stays home, not only on election day but before when they’d be ringing doorbells for a conservative.
You get enough moderates/libs to win by moving them to the right. I think Jindal could do this.
I like him, have for a long time. Very articulate, smart... much more likable than any of the rubes we had to choose from this year.
Then figure out a way to do something about us going to NH where they let anyone vote, even people who live in MA.
They would be pointing fingers at him today instead of Sarah.
more pandering to minorities by salivating over a guy who’s only sorta white
eff that crap
it doesn’t do anything for us...nada...if we had run Uncle Ben against Obama we woulda still lost
i would ask but folks will run Google something but really ....what makes Jindahl so damned special other than how he looks and he speaks fairly well
this is just like folks going on and on about Powell, Condi and JC Watts here....the first two betrayed us and the latter just got quiet and failed to come out for his pal
only black politician maybe who has it is Steele but what’s he done really?
he gets all this press for having a failed election and then being a talking head and having been an EL TEE?
give me a break
freepers are not quick to learn...there is a PC knee jerk thing here about race that I first noticed 8 years ago and which got worse after 9-11 and the amnesty wars...btw, boy amnesty worked out great too eh?, thoise damned Mexicans were sure grateful to Uncle Juancho weren’t they?
oh I know, everyone will lie and claim Joindahl being Indian has nothing to do with it...
i say bullshite, ya’ll better break free of these PC chains you’ve let yourself get wrapped up in, they will continue to drag us to the bottom
I’m watching Bobby Jindal on the rerun of H&C right now and he sounds great. Very articulate and inspired.
The lame stream media would have a field day with his physical appearance and I don’t want to give them that advantage. SNL would love that. It’s so lame and shallow I know, but we have to acknowledge what we are unfortunately surrounded by, which is a huge constituent of image only voters, and they were told that 0bama was the ONE, and they responded as told.
We need total packages going forward to counter the media, or at least to take away any ammo from them.
I’m also talking about Palin here. As much as I like her, she has now been part of a losing ticket. That’s it for her unfortunately. Or we can decide to continually put her out there and lose. McCain lost in 2000 and we were dumb enough to try him again? I supported him once he became apparent, but he wasn’t my first choice.
Don't be ridiculous, Reagan lost and came back to be the best president this country ever had.
True, the LSM will try to shred any Republican candidate. But why make it so easy for them? I love Jindal’s message and spirit, I wish it was really about that, but obviously after 0bama Hussein’s victory, it’s not, and we have to deal with that if we want to get some of our people back in there. We have been basically banished after 2006 and last night, and I don’t like it one bit. McCain lost in 2000 and he lost in 2008 because he lost in 2000. Palin lost in 2008 and she would lose in 2012 because she lost in 2008. JMHO,observation, and specualtion.
I’ve heard Jindal/Palin and Palin/Jindal a lot today, and my gut tells me they, or either, do not have a chance for various reasons as discussed.
I don’t like it, each are really genuine people, but the electorate obviously do not think like us here in Freep Land... and that’s who we have to convince.
It actually seems like 47% of the country is Republican, 47% is Democrat, and we fight over th 6% that is undecided each election cycle. When you think about it, trying to turn 6% one way or the other is what it’s all about, and this year it was done with a huge media/advertising campaign portraying a nothing man as a star of some sort...
Anyway, gonna move on, I’m sure there will be plenty more talk of Jindal and Palin...
Reagan was a huge Hollywood star, don’t forget that, and don’t think it had nothing to do with it either. Palin is the Governor of Alaska. Palin lost as the VP choice for the Republicans in 2008. Ever heard of Geraldine Ferraro?
I’d like to see us take it all back and I don’t think we need to be wasting time running people that have lost previously. McCain lost in 2000, are you surprised he lost again in 2008? I’m not. Why waste a chance re-running Palin? There are 350 million + people in this country, do we really have so few choices that we have to rerun past losers? I like Palin very much, but I’m moving on...
Reagan was never on a losing ticket.
Of all the VP nominees on losing tickets in the history of the country, only one has ever gone on to become President, and that was FDR.
Idiot! There is no Republican party.
Really, and how many of them can draw 20,000 crowds?
How many of whom can draw 20,000?
FRiend, I agree that Palin was great for us in 2008. I just think she will be tainted by this election cycle politically in 2012.
We can’t take chances running people who have already had a chance to run and lost. If we do that, we will lose again and again.
2012 is a long way off, so I guess we’ll wait and see... I will not be going for weak candidates or also rans, let’s see what the GOP decides, maybe they’ll run McCain again...
