Things rarely turn out as bad or as good as it first appears they might.
It is my hope that once in the majority the rats will fragment and start fighting among themselves. There are parts of the rat coalition that simply aren’t aligned on basic issues - like unions and environmentalists or homosexuals and traditional blacks.
I don’t see much to stop the rats though if they remain united. And I really don’t see much to stop them in the first 100 days of the Obama presidency even if they do start to fragment. But then, there is always the hope that the rat leadership in the congress is so poor that they will somehow blow the opportunity at least in part.
Guys, relax.
Life goes on, and the GOP will be back. EVERY TIME a party is in the majority for too long, they become corrupt. Bank it.
That led to the GOP losses, and it will lead to Dem losses.
Yeah, I am worried about what Obama will do in the meantime.
But, the time to fight against his policies is when he proposes them, Congress acts etc.
He is the president. I won’t call him “my” president, as I don’t own him. But, he is the president, and we have to deal with it.
