President Bush can pardon himself; the power of the presidential pardon is plenary and has no limits except that it cannot be used with respect to impeachment:
"... and he shall have Power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offences against the United States, except in Cases of Impeachment."
If they charge him, charge me too! I voted for him and I supported his decisions regarding the war on terrorism and the neutralization of the late Saddam Hussein.

I do have to wonder who would stand up for him if he is tried. Probably not a lot.
He deserves to go to jail for Ramos and Compean. He wont get any sympathy from me even if his trials are based on stuff he did right. He has been complicit in destroying this country. At the end of four years we’re all going to have bumper stickers that say “I miss Bill”.

You forget, he did stick up for himself. When he wanted to sell our country to those wanting slave labor, and we apposed him, he and his administration viciously demonized us.
