As Reagan put it, "Most men move to the center, great men move the center". Or at least, words to that effect. I don't have time to look up the exact quote.
The center has been moved. Leftward. Big time. Of all the GOP candidates for POTUS, there was maybe a full fluid ounce of charisma between them. It wasn't until Palin was injected into the McCain campaign that I saw a glimmer of hope.
At best, the next 4 years will be a sharp slap to the face of the morons who voted themselves bread and circus'. At worst... well... Picture a boot stomping on a human face... Forever.

Amen to that...and well said.
I agree. I hate to say it, yet I will. I found it very hard to take Ron Paul, and his supporters, seriously. Even one avid supporter who is a very dear friend.
Maybe the questionable character that is our President-Elect (i just threw up a little in my mouth, for real) will be the kick in the butt the GOP and/or the Libertarian party needs to make it's way into the new century.
Anyway, don't blame me... I voted for Fred Thompson in the primary!
