Ummm, I think most Americans will grumble but would register their guns as directed. I believe that there is a limit beyond which any person can not be pushed. However, most Americans are heavily vested in their jobs, family, church, community, etc, etc. Thereby, the metaphorical “line in the sand” that an American must step across and essentially become a wanted felon is much further out than the gun registration issue.
