I figure we have a window of about six months before we have to start worrying about gun bans, so I need some help.
The only ones Ive found are nearly 50 bucks each.
If they are registered they may be confiscated. That’s one of the first things Hitler did.
Perhaps someone could post “current” guns laws in states where guns can be purchased easily without registration

Molon Labe.
I need (more) help as well. I need at least a shotgun, preferrably 12ga Remington 870, 2nd choice Winchester defender. I’d like to get a .308 rifle as well, and a .45 ACP (1911). I figure I have until mid-January, and I should be able to cover the cost, though if someone here in TX can do a package, that would help immensely. I don’t need collector pieces or match-grade. I also wouldn’t mind a crack at a .30 M1 Carbine.
I bet they will see some BRISK sales.
4473, betcha data for past years will “miraculously” reappear.
I recommend guns with calibers that are easy to find ammo for. 357, 9mm, 45 are good choices.
If you get wildcat rounds you better learn to reload.
I am a highly-skilled IT engineer, so I can barter work to cover (or partially cover) the price.
private sales..no paper
for home defense check out the Remington 870 Tactical Magnum with SpecOps Stock (recoil reducing).
If they come collecting guns, I will disappear with mine into the back country. I have been preparing my survival gear, guns, and ammo for sometime now. I will never surrender them.
Im focused more on magazines right now..since Im good for guns.. but Id get hunting shotguns from the classified ads and have the bbls cut down to 18.5
I have some friends with 100-200 guns..and theyre hidden everywhere.
I would recommend a Remington 700 for the rifle. They’re relatively inexpensive ($400-$500 or so) and are very accurate. They can be had optics-ready or with iron sights and are quite accurate to 200 yards out of the box or more depending on your shooting skill. In my experience Ruger’s M77 rifles have been very accurate and reliable as well.
The Remington 870 Express is a great shotgun. It is highly customizable and shoots a wide variety of shells. It’s not expensive ($300-$400) and is a great 12 gauge.
1911 pistols are hard to go wrong with, especially if you don’t mind the full size models. They aren’t that expensive either.
Lets do a group gun buy for cheaper prices. I am in for 1 12 guage(semi auto right?)
Good place to look for magazines - all makes and models..

p99 mags about $30.00
In the short run, nothing on your list will be targeted. They will go for the UBRs and full capacity mags.
In four years????
Gee, sir, all my guns were stolen while I was on my way to the gun show...
exactly my thoughts and plan. they will never get mine, not one of ‘em.
Is the 870 a pump? Why is pump better than semi-auto. I want the speed of a semi-auto, right?
