Being in oil and gas in Houston and working at times for BP and BG formerly British Petroleum and British Gas I can tell you it's a lot like that. My wife once met me at a bar where I was already deeply in conversation with a few Scots and Brits. when we finally got to dinner she said she couldn't understand a thing anyone was saying. England and America, two countries separated by a common language.

This morning they played a taped interview of Chevy Chase and the way he use to satirize President Gerald Ford stumbling around. Chase said they did that to influence the election.
I’ve always like David Letterman but I’ve got to wonder about him.
I don’t mean any offense to anyone or taking things too seriously. Just adding to the conversation.
