My daughter is 6 months too young to vote in this election (and not happy at all about it). However, she was very, very involved in campaigning for McCain/Palin. Her best friend, our pastor’s daughter, voted in her first Presidential election and she voted - McCain/Palin!

EVEN IF YOU LIVE IN A “DEMOCRAP” STATE GO VOTE!!

IT IS THE ONLY WAY TO GET REPUBLICANS IN AT *LOCAL* GOVERNMENT LEVELS~!!

AND HAVING THEM THERE INCREASES POWER AND CUTS INTO DEMOCRAP STRANGLEHOLDS

NY AND CA MAY BE LOST CAUSES FOR PRESIDENT, SO MAYBE DEMOCRAP TURNOUT WILL BE LOW- SO GO VOTE FOR LOCAL LEVELS!!!!

AND NEXT TIME AROUND GET TO THE POLLS DURING THE PRIMIARIES WHERE YOUR VOTE HAS 10 OR 100 TIMES MORE IMPACT (very small % of registered voters vote in primaries) THIS IS WHERE WE GET RID OF RINO’S

This headline and thread are really annoying.

Look, I’m not one of the FReepers who goes around objecting to vanities - I mostly just ignore them.

But by not identifying this thread as a very silly vanity you tricked me into wasting my time clicking on it — and THAT annoys me.

If you want to write a vanity, I really don’t care, but identify it in the headline so that those who are not interested don’t waste their time.....

Up 100% in this household! I *knew* there was an upside to having these Irish Twins. My REPUBLICAN voting daughter was 18 last Wednesday. Her REPUBLICAN voting brother will be 19 on Saturday.

Today’s not the day to play cute stuff like that. Please ask the moderator to insert VANITY into your title as you should have to begin with.

My daughter also was a first time voter today. She’s not enthralled with McCain since she grew up hearing how I drove 400 miles to vote for Sir Ronald.

I compiled a voter Guide of my carefully thought out choices and gave her, my wife and about 20 friends a copy so that I could make my vote count over and over...legally.

Wife and I voted Pubs.
My youngest daughter voted for Obama- just turned 18 two weeks ago. I must admit, my first vote was for McGovern, never voted for a dem for President since. She'll be out in the workforce soon and will change once she sees her first paycheck's deductions.
Another daughter drove 45 miles from College to write in Ron Paul. (*!?)She was a big Paulite campaigning for him in NH and SC, has two bumper stickers on her car - “Don't blame me, I supported Ron Paul” and ‘Any attempt to stop me from exercising my first amendment rights will be met by me exercising those of the second” or something like that.
My two oldest I don't know what the heck they did.
