My daughter also was a first time voter today. She’s not enthralled with McCain since she grew up hearing how I drove 400 miles to vote for Sir Ronald.

I compiled a voter Guide of my carefully thought out choices and gave her, my wife and about 20 friends a copy so that I could make my vote count over and over...legally.

Yes in California, there are 2 places where we can pull an upset.

[State Assembly]
Long Beach - CA-54 Gabriella Holt

and Ontario - CA-61 Wendy Maier

They both need your support if you live in those areas. We might lose seats, so we need to protect our state from higher taxes.

We can make a difference.

Wife and I voted Pubs.
My youngest daughter voted for Obama- just turned 18 two weeks ago. I must admit, my first vote was for McGovern, never voted for a dem for President since. She'll be out in the workforce soon and will change once she sees her first paycheck's deductions.
Another daughter drove 45 miles from College to write in Ron Paul. (*!?)She was a big Paulite campaigning for him in NH and SC, has two bumper stickers on her car - “Don't blame me, I supported Ron Paul” and ‘Any attempt to stop me from exercising my first amendment rights will be met by me exercising those of the second” or something like that.
My two oldest I don't know what the heck they did.
