I guess I'm one of the few who believe in limited government and personal responsibility. It should be the parents job to care for their children's teeth, not Uncle Sam's.

I don’t disagree with that one bit. I wasn’t defending it’s addition to the water supply, I was arguing that flouride has benefits and is not harmful. In fact, adding it to the water supply is probably pointless these days anyway since so few people drink water, especially from the tap.
