Your experience has been my experience. When I talk to people about politics, for some reason they think I’m an Obama person and don’t want to talk back to me. I think the “get in their faces” comments was a big, big mistake. As soon as they know I am a Republican, the look of relief comes over them and they open up more. How scary is that in America?

Yep, same here. Though at work yesterday, as Sarah, I got some nasty looks. Some of the ladies I work with loved the outfit, but then snidely said, ‘I’m still not voting for you.’ I’ve come to to conclusion that the women who are voting for Obama are vapid, brainless, celebrity sycophants with no grasp of common sense at all.

I started a new job recently, and for some reason I think my new boss (a Republican) thinks I’m an 0bama person, too. Not sure why. But I need to let a hint drop that I’m a conservative without injecting politics into our work relationship.
