State polls are almost irrelevant at this point.
There is usually a lag between national trends and their appearance in state numbers. When McCain starts to close, it will be shown in national numbers—not states.

Of the 15 states that have chosen both a Democrat and a Republican for President in the post-Reagan era... Indiana ain't one of 'em.
In fact, 1964 was the last time that Indiana went for a Dem... and Obama ain't no LBJ, and McCain ain't no Goldwater.
