I am sorry - that was rude of me. Tech was the underdog and even though they dominated most of the game, Texas came back with a couple of really big plays and suddenly the announcers were acting like Tech hadn’t done anything in the game..... I took that out on you and your comment about them.

We may not win out but this was a big win for our team - thanks.

If you recall, the old defensive coach who had been there forever and couldn’t coach any better than I could, was FINALLY fired last year after we lost to Oklahoma State. So this is really Ruffin McNiel’s first year of coaching - full year anyway. He’s done a pretty good job with a team that has never had a defense.

It’s a huge win for Tech. I guarantee they are going to get a lot more top-notch recruits because of this win, assuming Leach stays in Lubbock.

I think his contract is through 2010 - we always fear he will leave but one of his daughters is at Tech so maybe he will stay for awhile.

I can’t believe watching the replay and the ball going right between his hands.
Michael Crabtree, damn that whole team is pretty good!!
Impressive win by Urban’s warriors, no? That was an arse kicking of the first degree!

Yep, I’ve waiting a full year to get revenge on Georgia for what they did last year. And obviously today the Gators played with a huge chip on their shoulder.
I just hope they get ready to go up to Vandy next week, because if Vandy beats them, Vandy is right back in first place in the East.

That was the most unbelievable finish to the greatest college football game I’ve ever seen.

My daughter is on the phone with me and Lubbock is crazy tonight! Kids are screaming and cars are honking - she said no way she can get away from where she is! They are celebrating Tech style!!!

Memo to Bob Knight, stick to college hoops. my friend. Actually he went 6-4 with the Utah game still in play.

2 minutes remain in the Duke City and the Utes are going to punt. The Lobos are going to start from their own 1 yard line. 1:58 remains, Utes lead New Mexico 13-10.

I haven’t been able to even think about any other games tonight - so I’ll have to catch up on scores but did think it was funny during College GameDay when Coach Knight was talking. They needed him to speed it up and he wasn’t doing it! lol
