I feel the same way you do, I am scared to death. This election reminds me of one many years ago, when I was a very young liberal, and busy staging protests, and policemen were throwing me out of the neighborhoods I was canvassing. Upon reflection I can now tell you my mindset was one of destruction. The government was bad, therefore we should destroy it and rebuild a better one. It was a time of Utopian and idealistic dreams based on mostly ignorance. There is a lot of ignorance going around these days, I think the media’s mentality is catching.

Destruction aside, and also a great yearning to be living in a communist state, one would think that with all the information available, a good presidential choice could be made using logic. Perhaps these words of Ayn Rand are indeed timeless, “You suffer from the popular delusion of believing that things can be understood. You do not grasp the fact that the universe is a solid contradiction.”

Obama has the young first time voters, college kids and other pie in the sky dreamers on his side. He has 97% of the Blacks, 70% of the Jewish population and the 89% of the MSM. Not to mention at least 75% of the Democrats and all LIBERALS.

Normally this would not be enough to win because of low voter turn out for several of these groups but this time it will be different especially with Blacks and the young voters. They are STOKED about BHO, like I have never seen before in my lifetime!

Already here in Las Vegas early voting has brought out 140,000 Democrats and only 70,000 Republicans.

1). Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high;

2). Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon;

3). the unemployment rate was 4.5%.

4). the DOW JONES hit a record High—14,000 +

5). American’s were buying new Cars,taking cruises,vacations overseas, and Living large !...

But American’s wanted ‘CHANGE’!
So, in 2006 they voted in a Democratic Congress and yes—we got ‘CHANGE’ all right.

1). Consumer confidence has plummeted;

2). Gasoline is now [was] at $4 a gallon!;

3). Unemployment is up to 5.5% (a 10% increase);

4). Americans have seen their Home equity drop by TRILLIONS of DOLLARS and prices are still dropping;

5). Over 3% of American homes are in foreclosure.

6). THE DOW is probing another low~~

7). TRILLIONS of DOLLARS HAVE EVAPORATED FROM OUR STOCKS, BONDS & MUTUAL FUND INVESTMENT PORTFOLIOS !

One word; CHANGE. They don't know WHAT kind of change, they just want "change." My Demo friends think that any "change" is better than "4 more years of Bush."

In other words, they've been mesmerized by Obama and have lost their souls and their will to think for themselves.

On Nov 5, they'll wake up but the mesmerization may take years to be cleaned out of their system.

Well, too bad for them, but it's their price for selling their souls for "spare change" from an empty suit Marxist.
