What is it with Romney supporters?
They're increasingly acting like ... Obama supporters.
A cult of personality, above all. Above even, country.
Get out front, call off your dogs, and ask your supporters specifically -- to support Sarah Palin.
Or else, get out of the way.
I voted for Mitt and without apology.
I would still prefer him
BUT
the REALITY it he’s NOT RUNNING!
No amount of write-ins will make the difference.
Hold your nose and VOTE for McCain/Palin.
Put COUNTRY first!
He was campaigning with McCain yesterday...what’s the problem?
So suddenly we believe all the ‘rumors’?
The disinformation campaign for 2012 is already in full swing. Don’t discount other GOP AND DEM 2012 contenders from trying to soften the target by planting these unsourced leaks to the press.
Who gains from Romney folks bashing Palin? Hmm... seems to soften Palin a bit. Who else? Hmm.. seems that it makes Romney look petty which would benefit, uh, Huckabee and Palin and Rudy and others. Oh, and making Romney look like a petty loser benefits who? Hmm, all the DEMs too.
Mitt the RINO
Come on, Mitt & supporters! We have so much at stake for our country in this election! We have the threat of radical socialists taking over our nation!
We can’t afford these insignificant little squabbles about who should have won the primary, who should have been the running mate, etc.
Get on board, support John McCain & Sarah Palin, and let’s win this election together!!!!!!!

Second that Emotion!
Hey I am a PUMA and I am doing what I can for McCain/Palin. If McCain/Palin does not get in this time, there is no chance for Romney or Hillary or anyone else in 2012 or a second term or much of anything. You take these things one battle at a time. This is war and hopefully, they will realize it and it is in everyone’s best interests, especially Romney to get McCain/Palin elected now, no matter what your later interests are. I am not a fool. Romney’s people need to get on the ball. They are dreaming if they don’t about 2012 and smoking funny ciggs if they think they will have a chance in 2012 if Obama gets elected. Sometimes, we may not like our champions but this is what it is and we have to make it happen.
Specifics? I heard Mitt on Glenn Beck yesterday and he sounded fine. He’s campaigning for McCain and hammering Maobama on the economy.
I agree. Spoiled brats paling around with Ben Smith at Politico. Get with the program or get the hell out of the party. I’m sick and tired of spoiled Republican yuppies who behave only slightly better than their liberal counterparts. If they can’t understand what is at stake in this election then they don’t understand anything. I saw over 300 people yesterday in Ashland in the cold drizzling rain coming out to see Sarah Palin at an unannounced lunch stop between campaign rallies. They had their kids and umbrellas and some were just standing in the rain. I then went on to a rally in Salem VA with more than 16,000 people turning out in the cold to see her.

Agree....No way Mitt (even though I am a fan) would draw the crowds or excitement of Palin. Mitt’s problem was being the governor of Mass....that is no ID for someone trying to get to the base of the Republican Party. I do miss his quick intellect. I don’t think he has a future in the Party. He is just an underappreciated talent.
Romney doesn’t need to just support the ticket.
Romney needs to specifically, clearly, and loudly support:
SARAH PALIN.
If he plays his cards right, Palin might just pick Romney, as her running mate in 2012.
He needs to start thinking of that. :)
Not a Mitt fan, but: This is FREE Republic, so the various posters are FREE to post whatever they wish about Mitt, McCain, Palin, or anyone else they choose.
I didn’t say “ban talking about Mitt Romney”.
Sheesh.
We’ve got an election to win.
Mitt’s not the issue.
In fact, Mitt seems to be becoming, the problem...
And yet people are still free to talk about him all they wish. And since he is campaigning FOR McCain, you should cut some slack.
Sheesh. :-)
Obama psy-ops to frustrate a few % of the GOP vote... and you guys are all falling for it...
you nailed it - troll city!
Now why in the world would he do that? He has the same incentives in this election as Hillary, as they both dream of stepping into the vacuum after their respective party's candidate loses.
