Schmidt is from Blacksburg, Va. He was here with Warner last week.

I feel your frustration at the opponents of Prop 8. Especialy the Teacher’s Union backing a No vote. Frankly, IMO, the California Teachers’ Association is the worst thing for our State.

What’s the alternative. Isn’t Yahoo just as left of center as Google?
There is no good sub for YouTube, you just have to download the video before it gets pulled.

I can do business with people I disagree with politically as long as I’m not compelled to be exposed to their wrong-headed beliefs. Google actively and overtly shoves leftist dogma down people’s throat. That, I can do without.

It is time to stop allowing the education unions to hide behind our children. They are in the business to make money and increase membership/dues. There’s nothing bad about that—we are all self-interested—but to cloak their wolf’s intentions in sheep’s covering has to stop. I admit that my concerns are not as immediate as when I had children in the public school system, but the popularity of Obama is testament to just how much damage has already been done by liberal interests controlling our education system. Too many of our younger citizens have little or no knowledge of the real history of the U.S. and the world and have little or no appreciation of the republican form of American government such that they are willing to toss it on a whim or for the latest American Idol.
