BTW, drove through Randolph, Guilford, Rockingham, and Alamance Counties today. Saw lots of McCain signs across the countryside, but very few 0 signs, except in one section of one town.

Discussion is that there are many more rural houses than usual which display no signs at all, or just state and local, which brings up the question: are Democrats simply not putting up signs because they are voting Republican for the first time and don't want their neighbors to know?

Ditto on Sampson, Robeson and Cumberland Counties.

McCain signs outnumbering Obama signs at least 10 to 1 on the rural roads.

Lots of signs for Judges and other local races in people's yards. Very few Senate and Governor signs.

I discounted all signs at intersections as they are not “owned”.
