Post navigation troubles here. Unless, of course, this is a duplicate thread and the moderator can lock this thread with the proper pointer to the thread where we should all go to.
Today I have a new issue:
When I click on Forum/Activity/Brevity: Headers it takes me back to Articles. Same with Forum/Comments/ Brevity: Headers.
FR Searches are a snap if you place a new link on your Toolbar (Firefox users):

I’ve been having trouble finding news articles. Too much clutter from mindless one-line vanities, handwringing poll threads, useless “entertainment” stuff, flying saucer threads, etc.
Seems the Freep is a one-stop therapy lounge, but I missed the memo.

Threads from early 2001 and before are gone.
Not sure what the story is on that.
When you click on Forum/Activity/Brevity: Headers... does it take you back to Articles? Same with Forum/Comments/ Brevity: Headers.
It goes back to the News articles, but with titles only, no short excerpts. So I chose “text” and it goes back to the view I favor.
I guess the typical thing to look at first is deleting the Freep cookie and logging back in and see if that fixes it.
1) At bottom of page, navigation links say “1-50” and, say, “51-70”. Click on “51-70” and it gives you messages 1-70, with view set at the top. So you have to scroll down to where you were.
2) To avoid duplicate posts, why not require that source URLs be unique? At least issue a warning to the poster if a thread already exists with the same source URL.
I’m logged in at a different site and it works fine. I’ll see later on whether the problem persists at home.
Now it works.
