It’s a Bisley.

About 15 years old.

I have a ‘93 Mod 94. I’ve been thinking about putting a Lyman on it. How do you like the one on yours?

Think posting up what you've got is a good idea?

Yes. 534 vs 80 million. I'd say their odds aren't good.

I just sold a ‘73 model, I didn’t like it much because it had too much kick with the straight stock, and the accuracy was only fair to poor.

Mine’s not a collector’s item; it has “FTR” stamped on the side of the receiver, so it isn’t worth “heart attack” level prices. It’s still a sweet shooter, though, and I got it cheap.

Nothing like a good 454 carbine/pistol combination.

Thanks for the photo. I have a 60 year old model 94 in the 32 win special format. Do you have any idea of value? It is not for sale I received it for Christmas from my Dad when I was a kid. Thanks.

Depending on condition $500-1200 IMO. Of course a present from your Dad is priceless.

I love the Lyman sight. I paid about $80.00 from a web seller, but I don’t remember the name. It comes with a fine and a wide aperture, and if you remove the eyepiece, it’s a ghost ring sight. You have to remove the buckhorn sight or it will be in the middle of the sight picture, so make sure you’ve got a dovetail insert for it.

I’ve been buying mine at gun shows; you can still find some deals. Also go to www.ammunitiontogo.com; they have it for $124.95 for 200 rounds.

No pic. but I did pick up a "Post Election Special" last week.

I came across a used Mossberg 500A Cruiser
12 gauge
20" barrel
8 shot
Wood Stock & forend

Research showed it was made in 1997. Condition is between Very Good and Excellent. There is very minor wear on the bluing from the action being cycled, and a faint mark on the stock where the strap held it in a vehicle gun mount. Yup, it rode around in a squad car for 10 years and was traded in. When I got it home I striped it down, cleaned & lubed it, then changed to a Knoxx CompStock. After a quad bypass, reducing recoil is healthy. [grin]
