Same era, but I'm more of a Chris Bailey fan myself...

Sidebar: About a month ago, the Wall Street Journal had an article
about major musical acts and how they were dealing with "going
it alone" or going with digital download services like Apple's.
I was stunned (and somewhat pleased) after looking a chart listing
the groups and their total "album equivalents" sold during
2006-present.
Yes, The Beatles are number one.
Number two (ahead of other major groups like Led Zeppelin)
as the group that the WSJ says has reliably, like clock-work
sold about one million albums per year for around a decade.
AC/DC
And I got another shock yesterday when I heard Wal-Mart was going
to handle distribution of their first studio album in eight years.
Talk about staying power.

A lot of folks don’t know that Brian Johnson was in “Geordie” prior to hooking up with AC/DC.
He did a great cover of ‘House Of The Rising Sun’, which is probably one of my all-time top favorite songs.
Every time we go see a bar band, I ask for it...and I tell them to sing it like they’ve lived it.
[and I base my opinion of the band solely on whether they do...or not]...:))
He also did a solo album called “Strange Man”.
Here’s his version off of that album:

Very good.
The Young’s had another brother, George, who founded “Flash And The Pan”
Here’s “Hey St. Peter”
Really good but little known band.
[who lived up to their name]...:)
