( “My grandmother's the last one left,” Obama told Smith. )

Obama ? actions speak louder than words.... why then ? are you ( and Michelle and your 2 daughters ) not by her bedside now ? .. if you cared that much about her, and you have the money to fly there to Hawaii... you should have been there hours of hearing this news and you know she was released from the hospital a week earlier.
Obama ? this sounds so disingenuous...

And now, more to my point...
After my first rant, and after how much we really know how much Obama loves his grandmother ( Sarcasm ) .... why then ? do you make this statement ? was it inadvertently said ... like your " My Muslim faith " comment ?

( “My grandmother's the last one left,” Obama told Smith )

What are you really saying Obama in this statement ?
Don't BS us Obama, we know you don't really care about your grandmother in how you have used her and treated her... come on ? what are you REALLY saying here ?
Just maybe ? that you are saying that ? she is the last one who can expose Obama and tell the truth about Obama ? “My grandmother's the last one left,” Obama told Smith.

He just threw her under the bus. She isn't really his grandmother anyway, just his Grandfather's second wife, not the mother of his father.

Why didn’t angry Michelle and the girls go to Grandma’s deathbed?? If this was the last time, wouldn’t you all go? Seems very odd.

Pray for W, McCuda and Our Troops

Who was her executor?

My mom got ill while living in a mobile home she owned in a park; I brought her home to my house a few miles away and we closed hers. A few months later her condition worsened and she asked to go to the hospital to control the pain.

The Indian doctor who spoke very poor English was adamant about moving her directly to hospice and I equally adamant that he accept my mother’s wishes to remain in hospital.

While he was manuevering to move her she died on us and we parted company, the animus remaining still.

I went through agony over her will which was neither holographic or written according to the clerks in probate court and even more grief as I begged the judge to allow the distribution of her meager estate according to her wishes among her 11 grandchildren, including the step-grandchildren.

Finally the asshat of a lawyer who had his clerk write the papers showed up in court with me and the judge dressed him down for the poor job he had done and granted me relief.

Only the hospital gave me no argument, all the rest involved were like vultures in the desert waiting for the sun to go down.

I still owe the shyster $800 according to a summary judgement he got when I was out of state, he thinks I owe it!

The final probate was never completed as the clerks wouldn’t file it - probably in the file cabinet behind their lazy butts in the Ventura County probate offices.

Unlike my dad who died the year before Kennedy was assassinated to the very day, Mom has never come to visit me; Dad comes by every once in awhile to do the things we started to do and never got done but he leaves before we get there and I somehow end up in this big noisy room watching an 80 year old man vacuuming a floor that goes nowhere and running a glass box that sucks smoke.

It is a shame he hasnt got a private jet that could have flown him immediately to Hawaii.

Forgive the cynicism, but this move tells me he is losing ground with women in his internal polling data. Nothing this close to the election happens for benign reasons.

Excellent observation. There are no benign intentions in the dem campaign, not a move is made or a word uttered without calculating advantage to be gained thereby. I see this as a cynical attempt to display his 'humanity' to the susceptible, along with a huge all media assault; in person, on tape, and by proxy. Get your barf bags ready, it'll be a rough couple of weeks.

I’m wondering why his white grandmother’s daughter-in-law, Michele, isn’t visiting with him? and what about her two admittedly adorable great grandchildren? If her health is grave, as reports say, why aren’t they at Obama’s side visiting too?

Either that or they told him an attack is coming but they don’t know where - somewhere in the continental US - so Obambi is heading for safe ground. Grandma was a good excuse to get the hell out of dodge and save his own butt. He’ll leave the wife and daughter in the U.S. - if they get hit, he figures he’s a shoe in with sympathy - worth the risk.

Is your tinfoil hat a little too tight? :)

Yes, and it is a shame it wouldn’t be big enough to bring this grandmother’s great grandchildren and her daughter-in-law too. Strange isn’t it?

Does he know what day she is dying? Only God does.
Oh wait...

Why doesn't he go after the election so he can spend some quality time with her?

If his grandmother was critically ill, she would not have been sent home from the hospital. Obama, is as usual, lying.
His trip to Hawaii has some other purpose, probably associated with his citizenship problem.

Can any time with Obama really be quality time?

when he threw her offM/s> UNDER that bus!

I've said Obama has at least shown himself to not be racist
or sexist.

Any gender, any hue of skin...he'll throw anyone he needs to
under the bus!

wouldn’t you think that a son would be beside his mother during her time of need? Especially when she’s so stressed out by the insurance company policies?

And maybe some of his (then) recent Harvard Law School education could have helped with that.

So the MSM has been all over Sarah Palin's $150,000 wardrobe, paid for by the Republican party, and which will be donated to charity.

Will we see a story today about how much it cost to fly 0bama to Hawaii on a purely personal trip, and that he is reimbursing the campaign for the use of the enormous plane he uses? Or is he flying commercial on his own dime? Just askin'.

Sorry, but if I were Grandma, I would be a bit nervous about the possibility of my death being used as a last desperate measure to win the presidency with the sympathy vote.

I know that might offend some people, but sociopaths have no feelings for anyone but themselves.

Someone say ‘quality time’? Check this. Obama’s now-famous remark: “Why can’t I just eat my waffle?” has been much noted. And the message taken from it has generally been that Obama is a haughty elitist who does not like to be questioned. I think that there is much more than that to it, however. Read the following report from last month to put it in context:

Early morning trainers and exercisers at the Greenville, Miss., YMCA on Mississippi primary day last Tuesday got a taste of Sen. Barack Obama’s reclusiveness, which the traveling press corps has learned to accept.

After speaking at Tougaloo College on Monday night, Obama went to the “Y” at 6:30 a.m. for a workout. He greeted nobody and did not respond when people there called out to him. That aloofness has been the pattern in the Democratic presidential candidate’s behavior toward reporters who cover him.

After finishing his workout, Obama returned to his gregarious campaign mode with a visit to black-owned Buck’s restaurant in Greenville before leaving the state. He won Mississippi comfortably against Sen. Hillary Clinton.

Source

The above quote and the waffle remark are both telling us the same thing: That Obama has difficulty keeping up his “nice guy” image. Keeping it up quite simply wears him out. It is not who he really is so keeping up that image tires him and he just HAS to rest from it. It is not who he really is.
And as someone who has studied psychopathy (I have a couple of academic journal articles on the subject) that is very familiar. http://parajr.blogspot.com/2008/04/that-waffle-was-more-significant-than.html
