If you are accepted, then people are not going to treat you like you’re a big deal. That is the fundamental logical disconnect with the drive for acceptance by homosexuals. Deep down, being accepted is the last thing they want.
I have one in my crew at work. He is out, and is just one of the guys. Everybody accepts what he is and who he likes. It is really no big deal to any of us.
Another one, on another shift, acts picked on, flares up at any perceived offense, and generally makes like difficult for everybody. Nobody hangs with him and avoids him at all cost.
