Another thought. Grandma is close to death (per Gibbs) and he does not take his wife or his children? That’s not how it works in my family.

But then, the girls do not get Christmas gifts, do they?

I am sure many other families would go en masse but with Obama all bets are off. He didn’t go see her when she had the corneal transplant this summer either and for a perfect photo op if you notice the picture of Grandma Dunham look over her shoulder to the picture behind her. Talk about staging!

Doesn’t work that way in my family either. My mother died a month ago. All of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were here for her “going away” party. Most of them came from a great distance. It was a blessed experience for all of us. I simply cannot imagine that “that one” would not take his children with him to visit her in her last days.
