Yur welcome...thought you’d get a kick out of that!

Good clear narrative report.
I’d like to see some of the naysayers with fossilized brains debunk it. Just for kicks.
Printed it off to read it.
thx

I hate the way British writers present stories - with words, but no information; and always with some stupid tag line or pun somewhere. Yeah, Im slightly off topic - bugger me.Well, I'm slightly late to the topic, but I'll answer anyway. I happen to know a few brits (including an in law) and its been my conclusion that the ones that I know do a lot of crazy-making. Short on real honesty and facts, long on extraneuos stuff, and lots of joking. I didn't know if it was just the ones I knew, or some sort of national trait.

“Im sure the FAA and military radar types . . . such as the FAA director over Alaska who retained a copy of the radar tape of the JAL flight wherein a UFO larger than an aircraft carrier played cat and mouse with the freighter for more than 45 minutes . .”
I had never read about JAL 1628 - that is very interesting, particularly the FAA investigator’s comments.

I’ve heard that Okinawa was a great place to see all kinds of things . . . an Army buddy of mine took a pic of the SR 71 way before it was safe to do so . . . there.

I was TDY at Kadena AFB the winter of 1965 and 1966. I didn't want to leave. It was a different sort of place. The modern parts of the towns had indoor plumbing, draining to raw sewage ditches outside, that drained to the ocean. It had a smell you had to get used to. ;0)

Believe what you like about the hawk. The starlings are really on a mission to find a freshly washed car.
