Barack Obama’s speeches contain the hypnosis techniques of Dr. Milton Erickson, M.D. who developed a form of “conversational” hypnosis that could be hidden in seemingly normal speech and used on patients without their knowledge for therapy purposes. Obama’s speeches intentionally contain:

If you want an example of NLP in an Obama speech, take a look at the speech when he says we will begin to “heal the planet”.

He uses an NLP technique called “time-distortion” which is a technique used to manipulate someone into believing something that hasn’t happened yet has already happened.

When he talks about “in the future, we will look back on this moment as the day we began to heal the planet, to stop the rise of the ocean...”

What he does is thru words, has his listeners imagine a time in the future, to place themselves there, and to then look back at the current day being the day they made the decision to “heal the planet, etc...”

It’s manipulative, and supposedly, it works on some people.

Other people can see the manipulation, especially if they are familiar at all with NLP

Either way, Obama is using a sneaky, manipulative technique, which speaks volumes about him.

Obama has the listener imagine themselves in the future, telling their children that this was the moment it all began, and that they/he were the reason.

I spotted it immediately, and this just confirms it.

Stage hypnosis has been morally degrading for the participants, and many of those involved had no memory of what had happened to them. It has been noted that several people have suffered injuries while hypnotized. Occurrences when people have been hypnotized and it has resulted in their becoming emotionally and mentally unstable are documented. Some of these happenings have led to admittance into a mental facility. Several people have dismissed the possibility that hypnosis and danger are linked. Most of these people are not experts in hypnosis and couldn't possibly know enough to make that determination. There has been some agreement that any suggestion involving the participant to revert to an earlier age in their life should be prohibited. However, subjects can still be asked to act as if they were a youngster. This action resulted in a bad outcome for a man named Chris Gates. He was hypnotized by a former BBC Radio One disc jockey turned hypnotist named Paul McKenna. First of all, the thought of being mindfully submissive to someone who is not an expert in the field was a bad idea. Chris started to behave like a child only days after undergoing hypnosis during a stage performance by Paul McKenna. Chris is now diagnosed with schizophrenia. Paul has been known to put his subjects' minds in positions where they have the qualities of a severe mental patient, such as being in a straight jacket. He also has used tactics like reverting subjects to the age of five and instructing them to see him as their teacher and then telling his "students" to be very, very naughty in class while his back is turned. For stage hypnosis, you obviously need an audience. When we look at someone like Hitler, we see how the mind can and will often lose its individuality and personality when in a crowd. Hitler was a skilled politician of sorts and swayed the crowd, many of whom did not like to do his bidding but did anyway. Hitler's hypnotism at this time resulted in millions of deaths. What some people will see as “Bullshit” others familiar with NLP will see the exact technique he is using and what he is trying to accomplish.

Most of us know Obama is full of BS, but the NLP angle explains in detail what he is doing and how he is doing it.

Like I said, Clinton used NLP techniques as well.

The Obamabots can’t name a single accomplishment or valid reason why they will vote for him, but they are going to vote for him regardless.

Now, is Obama using some kind of “mind control”?

No, but he is using carefully scripted wording, that is scientifically researched to invoke certain emotions and reactions.

It’s not just about being a BS artist, it’s about using complicated wording and techniques to manipulate people.

Read up on the basics of NLP and you’ll see exactly what he does.

Yes, he takes you on a collective, feel-good “group fantasy” journey into the future and by the time you arrive back into the present moment, you are already patting yourself on the back for a job well-done and might as well vote for the guy to get on with the show he already laid out. Very slick marketing; allows the spiritually void to be a part of something bigger that unites them with others who do the noble work of helping the downtrodden, seemingly Christ-like and noble, yet you don’t actually have to lift a finger. It allows people to feel like they care more about the “jobless’ than others do, when in fact most “jobless” people who are serious about changing that status know that you have to work hard to find a job, even if you have a kick-ass resume and lots of experience in your field! That whole language of “providing good jobs to the jobless” sounds like Santa-Obama would be going around handing out $50k job gift cards to the urban outdoorsmen squatting downtown with their brownbags; so easy!

I’ve noticed, too, that Hussein a lot of times goes round and round the bush (the mulberry bush in this case) doing the setup - but, then he just trails off and doesn’t get to ANY point. By the time he goes through the “setup” ramble, you forget what in the blazes he started to set up in the first place. He says NOTHING, and half of that is a lie.

I’ve noticed that Dr. Wayne Dyer also employs a sort of mesmerizing, relaxing method of constant “circle” making with his hands the whole time he’s talking. I can’t watch him because I feel like I’m being manipulated with an obvious “technique”.

NOte that the PDF is worth reading although I just skimmed the first 16 pages to get to the part where they start providing examples of Obama’s techniques. The document can be hard to make oneself read because it initially seems preposterous and the formatting is annoying but you do need to read through it to understand the better material that occurs toward the end. I and a few other posters found the footnotes to be worth reading and we checked out various web pages linked there.

For those who don’t want to read the doc a suggestion: If you do watch the 30minute infomercial Obama has planned pre-Superbowl, sit down with pencil and paper and jot down a few notes about these topics: (make a beer game out of it!)
1. Make a mark on the paper each time Obama says a literal or figurate truth (i.e. today is a new day, I am standing here, we are here together etc, we need change.) This is to lower psychological defenses and he does it evenly and repetatively to keep logic barriers down.

2. Write down the last word Obama says before each long pause. He talks in 4 to 8 word sentences slowly - write down the word just before the pause. It should be words or impressions he intends for you to involuntarily recall on voting day.
Extra Credit: Note instances where he holds thumb and forefinger together like a pencil.

If you see these behaviors during the informercial - you may want to come back and read the PDF so you may want to save a copy now just in case! : )
These are just a few of the simplest techniques covered in teh document. By the time you add them all up it no longer looks like coincidence.
Unfortunately, if Obama is indeed using hypnotic techniques, his Superbowl infomercial is his last chance to reach more people and to fortify hynotic suggestions for those he has already reached. If he is even partially sucessful - then a number of people will not know why they changed their vote to vote for Obama at the last moment on Nov 4th.

Also - one poster on one of those threads posted a 30 year old film clip of a Russian defector describing the stages of mass manipulation (similar but not formally the same) planned for the US...way back then! And...sadly enough - he was quite right. Here’s the eerily prescient old film clip:
