Compared to the current model, it's more an evolved external design, with the biggest change being the switch to the Toyota corporate nose design found now on the Toyota Yaris hatchback and current Corolla sedan sold in the USA. But interior-wise, there are a lot of changes, especially with the completely redone interior (see picture here):

...and a much-revised Hybrid Synergy Drive drivetrain with more power and better fuel economy at the same time.
...and its still ugly!
It still looks like a Dust-buster in swarch of its handle, only with less power than a dust-buster.
That little thing sticking out of the console looks, uhhhh, obscene.
I’m 6’4”, how the heck do you fit in that ugly thing?
Honda has a clone coming out too. What is sad is Ford and GM (Opel) have modern direct injection diesels in Europe that get better mileage than the current and new and improved Prius.
The Dems are blocking importation of them. These new diesels are cleaner, quieter and fast. BMW, Audi, Mercedes, Puegeot, Renault, Honda, Fiat also have euro diesels.
Ford has a diesel Focus that gets about 55 mpg. It was just named the Greenest Family Car in the UK.

A diesel Fiesta probably could get 75 mpg.
“The new Priussss!”
That interior looks.... cozy. Probably comfortable for anyone under 4 feet tall.
Looks like the old prius with a different nose.
The biggest problem I have with the styling of the prius is the “too small” tires and wheels look.
Still an ugly ricegrinder.
If I want gas mileage I’ll ride a motorcycle and not one of those pretent gas-sippers that waste as much gas as any cars does and pollutes the environment more than a Hummer. When I drive, I want comfort and safety, so I drive better vehicles.
They’re still plagiarizing the Aztek’s rear end, I see.
